Today's entrants have something in common, and if you identify that, you might be set to ID them that much faster...

I'm pretty sure the top one is a Grice, Wood and Keller(Keiler?, not sure about the spelling), I've seen the picture before somewhere, was an article about friction transmissions or somehting. Don't know what the second one is.. but I'm guessing that it has some sort of CVT or electromagnetic transmission. I may be wrong, but I'm guessing the theme here is weird transmissions. If it is an electromagneic transmission I'd say it's an Entz, since J.B Entz afaik was the inventor of the eletromagnetic transmission. Sorry I can't be more specific.

You are correct on both counts! GWK, and Entz/Owen Magnetic prototype. The theme isn't just weird transmissions, but early plays on CVT: one electric and one based on friction discs. You're currently in the lead for Name That Chassis wins, with both of these and the Haflinger.

I've just been lucky. I Love reading, and some of the things I read I actually remember. Now if I know the answer to your next "name that chassis", I think I'll be a wee bit worried.
